bullet pointProducts sold are suitable for installation and use on the UK mainland only and may not be suitable for use elsewhere.
bullet pointUK Domestic Appliances cannot be held responsible for incorrect information or incorrect ordering due to the consumer following a link from a search engine such as Pricerunner, Google, Kelkoo or other similar sites.
bullet pointPlease read our Terms and Conditions carefully each time you make a purchase. They do not affect your statutory rights. We may change these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on to the website.
bullet pointAll products are sold subject to availability from the manufacturers and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. If, for any reason, an appliance ordered is not available, customers will either be offered an alternative model or given a full refund.
bullet pointDelivery is to anywhere on the mainland in England and Wales. All deliveries are also subject to our ‘One Man Delivery’ service (*see details below). Deliveries to Scotland are by arrangement at an additional charge.
bullet pointUK Domestic Appliances only accept orders paid in Pounds Sterling. Full payment must be made before we deliver. We do not operate a ‘cash on delivery’ policy.
bullet pointUK Domestic Appliances accepts payment by most major credit and debit cards. Payment is deducted as the order is processed. We also accept payment by cheque.
bullet pointWhen customers are paying for their goods by card, we may use certain information you have given us and also any received from credit reference agency checks. This helps to protect both you and us against fraudulent transactions. We will contact you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method.
bullet pointIt is UK Domestic Appliances's normal policy for goods to be delivered to the registered address of the cardholder. However, in certain circumstances and SOLELY at our own discretion, we are sometimes able to authorise deliveries to a different address, if this is requested on the order form. We will contact you if we encounter a problem with this request.
bullet pointUK Domestic Appliances will contact you and provide a specific despatch date as soon as the goods are ready for delivery. This will be within 30 days of the date of the order.
bullet pointAll appliances MUST be signed for on delivery. Customers must keep this receipt in case of need for future reference.
bullet pointWhen a pre-arranged and agreed day has been given for delivery and then that delivery fails due to there being no one at the address to sign for the goods, the customer may be liable to pay a failed delivery charge which will depend upon the size and weight of the item.
bullet pointThe customer is asked to closely inspect the goods upon delivery for any cosmetic defect before signing the delivery receipt. Damaged goods should not be accepted. We will return the rejected items to our warehouse and endeavour to replace them as soon as possible.
bullet pointAny items delivered in good condition and are subsequently rejected by the customer, for whatever reason, may be returned (at the customer's expense) up to seven working days after the day of delivery. Goods must be adequately packaged for return to us in or with all the original packaging. As long as the goods arrive back to us in the same good condition, the contract will then be cancelled and a refund of payment will be made.
bullet pointThe value of all appliances is as shown on the website at the time of purchase and does not include transportation charges or any other additional factor.
bullet pointIf you wish us to collect such an item from you for return, you will be expected to pay an reasonable delivery collection fee. This can vary from £30 to £250 subject to size and weight of the appliance.
bullet pointIf you use an alternative carrier to return your goods, this is at your own risk and we recommend additional packaging as they may not be able to ship appliances in the same way as us. It follows that any damage to the goods, not notified to us before despatch, will be presumed to be caused on the return journey to us for which we cannot be liable.
bullet pointCustomers purchasing a gas hob or oven and intending for it to be fitted into a flat or multi dwelling building should consult the appliance info section for "ovens" or "hobs/hoods" before proceeding.
bullet pointIt is recommended that all customers should read the instruction booklets normally supplied by manufacturers before operating a new appliance. Often, problems that may initially seem like a fault can be rectified quickly and easily by referring to this documentation.
bullet pointItems sold on this website are as individual units and not as a linked transaction as fit for use with other products purchased.
bullet point* The term ‘One Man Delivery’ means prompt delivery by one person delivering to your ground floor door. Large appliances such as tall fridges, freezers and range cookers will need the assistance of an able-bodied person to enable the appliance to be placed over that threshold in a safe and secure manner. If applicable, we will ask that an arrangement for such assistance is provided on the agreed date of delivery. ‘One Man Deliveries’ are restricted to ground floor locations with easy access and exclude difficult front or rear steps and larger appliances requiring the help of a second person. Please ask for further details if any clarification on this point is needed. If there is likely to be a problem, please call us as we are sometimes able to arrange non-standard deliveries (at a small additional cost) if appropriate assistance is not available.
bullet pointYour failure to inform us about likely delivery problems may result in the item being returned to our warehouse. In this instance we may charge a fee to cover the cost of each item being returned up to a maximum cost of £35 and an additional fee to cover the actual cost of any agreed re-delivery to your premises.
bullet pointWe reserve the right to cancel the order and return any sum paid if we believe that a ‘One Man Delivery’ cannot be effected
